This frame off body off restoration took 3 years to build, and it has just under 10,000 miles on the entire build, including the entire drive train. The frame has been heavily trussed and gusseted for maximum strength. Frame braces have been carefully crafted in the areas of the front bumper, the steering box area, the rear bumper, and the rocker panels/side steps. The frame was then painted black. This Bronco was just smoked, so it's ready to register in CA.

The engine is a 2004 fuel injected 340HP Ford Crate engine with serpentine belt system, shorty headers, performance ignition and coil, plus a fully customized exhaust system routed out behind the right rear corner. Everything on this engine was top of the line when it was built. The transmission is a fully built GM Hydramatic 700R4 speed automatic, backed up by an Atlas 2 transfer case. There is a heavy gauge aluminum skid plate protecting the transfer case, and both drive shafts have been rebuilt.

It has a Dana 44 in front with heavy duty axles and an ARB Air Locker. The Currie Ford 9" big bearing rear end has a nodular pinion, aluminum center section, and an ARB Air Locker. It gets up and goes. It has King 16" 2.5" dual rate coil over shocks in front and in the back, plus modified wristed radius arms, with King 4" heavy duty hydraulic air bump stops and limiting straps, plus a pair of Currie Rock Jock front and rear anti-sway bars that keep body roll to a minimum, as well as a strong four-link system in back. You could not hurt this suspension system even if you tried. This Bronco is bullet-proof. All brake lines are custom flared and fitted out of stainless steel.

It has a stock factory hood, with Autofab hood pins, plus a custom hood prop. The core support has been cleanly modified to fit the aluminum radiator with dual-electric fans, which are hooked up to an automatic kick in switch that turns on at a designated temperature, plus a transmission cooler with an external switch that can be manually turned on when moving through slow traffic or crawling over steep inclines or rocks.

It has two blue top Optima batteries custom mounted under the passenger side seat. The engine bay is clean and virtually wire-free. There is a air compressor built into the engine compartment so you can air up your tires out on the beach or on the trail, plus a storage tank for air under one of the shaved rocker panels underneath the door. There are tubular side steps/rocker guards that help when stepping in and out of the vehicle, plus add strength when your truck is sliding off boulders (if you are into that kind of four-wheeling). The interior has been fully bed-lined with Linex Polyuria bed liner. There are custom rear speaker enclosures Linex-ed into the bed liner, with amazing sounding speakers and a large sub woofer console behind the rear seat, which is enclosed in Linex Polyurea material.

The front seats are adjustable black fabric Recaro racing seats, with a matching factory rear seat and matching door panels. There are stock seat belts in back, and and retractable shoulder belts in the front. The extreme duty "Crab" 8 point family roll cage has been match painted to the body color, which is a two-stage base coat/clear coat Desert Sand color, which we rarely see. This adds a idea that Ford would have meant it to be this way from the factory. The rear tail panels have custom steel 1/8" rock plates protecting the body underneath, and the fender flares are big and black to accomodate the large tires that raise up higher than average when driving slowly or fast in extreme conditions.

The modified factory dash has been match painted, and looks mostly stock, besides the fact that the glove box has been re-located 4" to the center which allows full access to the glove box. The factory heater switches and pulls are in their normal mounting positions, and the speedometer cluster looks to be in great shape. It has a stainless tilt steering column and a LeCarra billet aluminum steering wheel.

It has a body-conturing front bumper with push bar and body-conturing rear bumper. The front bumper has a pair of Hella 1000W lights, the head lights are H-4 head lamps, it has amber running lights and Rigid 3" square beams mounted to the grill, and a 9500LB winch with rope instead of steel cable. There are factory reverse lights and a Rigid rear flood light as well, all of these lights are on a separate toggle switches, as are the ARB Air Locker switches.

The entire Bronco has been professionaly re-wired, most of the engine bay wires are hidden, and there is a separate customized aluminum instrument panel above the 4x4 shifter tunnel, with twin-stick 4x4 shifters in front of the black Tuffy locking center console, where the automatic shifter works with the push of a button and the forward or backward motion of a sleek aluminum shift lever. It has 16" aluminum wheels with 35" tires.

The Desert Sand paint job has been applied and the factory body underneath is all metal and is perfectly straight. The black soft top is a Best Top with tinted windows. The outer door handles have been replaced, the doors are lined up properly, the window felts and channels have all been replaced. It has black lift-off door hinges so the doors can be easily taken off, and the windows roll up and down effortlessly.

Some steering work is still needed.
