This extremely rare RUST-FREE blue plate California Un-Cut '69 Explorer/ Sport package is a perfect candidate for a quality Rocky Roads Restoration, or keep it as a 'survivor', and drive it with the original Wind Blue paint! Now pressure washed & detailed, paint looks really nice.

It has the original 302 engine in it, with a stock 2 bbl. carb & stock ignition. It has only 71K miles on it, with 'glass packs', so it sounds lean and mean! (prior owner gave us the original 'Oil Bath' air cleaner, too) It has a very clean odometer and dash. Heater works. The engine bay is very straight, and 100% rust free. The core support is perfect, which tells us it's never been hit. It has a factory 3 speed on the column, which shifts great, with manual steering that works very well. It currently has drum brakes all around, a Dana 30 front axle and a Ford 9" open diff in the rear with 4.11 gearing. It runs and drives very well for a 43 year old truck, always garage kept & serviced by former owners.

Rust-Free Un-Cut original fender trucks are becoming tougher and tougher to locate these days... but through lots of research & connections, we manage to find them once in a while. The underneath is now pressure washed and looks very nice. Soon it will be wire brush prepped, and the tub fully undercoated and entire undercarriage blacked out in a high quality satin black finish. All body trim, grill trim, emblems & reflectors are in real nice original condition, as is the window trim. The hard top is also in very clean condition, with all aluminum trim & chrome liftgate latch intact.

It has restored Parchmont colored factory bucket seats in front, currently has no rear seat (we're trying to locate a stock rear seat now)... New matching RR pleated vinyl door panels, rear side panels, and a new tailgate panel will soon be installed. The original white mat flooring is in pretty good shape as well. The original headliner is in good shape, and it has some 'gun racks' across the passenger side window.

A new black locking center console will be installed this week. It has a clean AM radio with factory speaker that works well, with a clean factory chrome antenna. The dash and all of it's pulls & bezels will be 'steel wooled' and cleaned back to factory. The steering column will also be cleaned up and restored. It also has a clean clean factory steering wheel & horn button, with wrapping to keep your hands from slipping.

The front bumper is factory and chrome. The rear bumper is also chrome, with a swing out tire carrier & matching spare with Bronco tire cover. Rear bumper also has a light duty tow hitch. It has stock suspension with the original wheels and stock 235 75R15 tires, with nice early style hub caps.
