This blue plate California Classic Bronco is a very clean example of a restored Vintage Bronco. This Early Bronco was purchased from the original owner, who lived in Big bear all of it's life, and was only recently brought down to Southern California after being purchased by the current owner. We were hired to do a lot of general maintenance work on this one.

This Bronco has an original 72,000 mile 302 engine that just received a new front end (timing chain, timing cover, all new gaskets and seals) plus a new fuel injection system & all new dual exhaust. It runs well and the engine is very healthy, and the exhaust sounds great and it's a very fun Bronco to drive. No steering issues or braking issues, just a fun Bronco that can be driven daily with all of the recent work that has gone into it!

It has a factory C-4 professionally installed automatic transmission with a late 70's EB column shifter, which was professionally installed by one of the original members of Bill Stroppe's race team. It has a healthy Dana model 20 transfer case that shifts nicely into 4x4. The Bronco has newer power steering & disc brakes, it steers & stops very well. We just installed a new Hydro-boost braking system to make it stop even better.

It runs and drives great and is very fun to drive! It is totally rust-free. All issues have been worked through so it's ready to enjoy without putting a bunch of time and money into it. The current owner already did all of the hard work, so from here all that would be left to do would be minor cosmetic changes if you would want to have something different then the way he set it up.

The body is and was very straight (the owner took a lot of pictures before & after, so you can see how nice the body was before it was painted) and it has been painted back to it's original color of Diamond Aqua. The 2 stage base coat-clear coat paint work cost over $5K (if he didn't know the owner of the paint shop this job would have cost over $8K) The paint work was done right and is very clean, and it was color sanded & polished so it shines like new. The dash is clean and it was done in Wimbledon white, with all restored gauges, bezels and heater pulls and knobs. There is a new interior light under the dash that turns on when you turn the headlamp switch.

He had the entire engine bay & undercarriage pressure washed, blacked-out & restored, and the bottom of the vehicle has been properly blacked-out and is nearly as clean as the top. It has a Dana 44 front axle with 3.50 gearing & power disc brakes in front, and a Ford 9" rear axle with 3.54 gearing. The wheels are aluminum 15"x10" American Eagle aluminum mags along with 33x12.50x15 tires that were recently installed and are in excellent shape. It has a 2.5" suspension system with new shocks all around.

The interior has a new Polyurea bed liner, (Linex) throughout. The floor pans have been replaced with new ribbed factory panels, which were professionally graphed in so you can hardly tell they were ever done. The suspension was recently replaced with new 11 leaf rear leaf springs & variable rate 2.5" front coil springs with dual front shock hoops, plus new "C" bushings & radius arm bushings, plus all new shocks for the best possible ride in any conditions.

It has new chrome head lamps with new head lights & new billet tail lights & bezels, along with new red tail light lenses, plus new side marker reflectors. It has new stock chrome bumpers in front & in back, and it also has a tow bar so it can be towed behind a motor home. The turn signals & electrical are working properly, plus all head lamps and tail lights are new. It has a newer LeCarra steering wheel and the column has been properly painted & restored.
