This is a proven off road machine with years of off-road experience and trail driving behind it. Everyone who has been out to the major EB 4x4 events knows this rig, and most folks in Classic Bronco Land have the utmost respect for it. It demands respect because it was built to withstand the most aggressive of off-road trails, which it has conquered many times over the last ten years, and still make it home without a glitch.

We recently took possession of this amazing Bronco, and we plan to make numerous upgrades to this special Trail Rig to make it even better than it was before. It currently has the original non-modified 302 engine, a rebuilt C-4 Automatic transmission with factory shifter on the column, shift kit & polished aluminum Le Carra steering wheel.

It has a Dana 20 transfer case with twin-stick shifters. In back it has a Ford 9" with Detroit Locker & Four-Link suspension set up with King Coil-Over shocks and drum rear brakes. In front is a Dana 44 with disc brakes and King Coil-Over shocks. It has been completely re-wired by WireTec, and everything electrical functions like new. It has Hella H-4 head lights. It has a custom switch panel in the dash, a custom fuse panel, an aux. charger plug, and an in-dash AM radio. It has a Tuffy locking center console with a stereo system inside, and a Tuffy locking glove box.

The interior now has restored stock black vinyl seating, Family style roll cage. We just installed a new set of 15x10 American Eagle aluminum wheels and a set of 32x11.50x15 BFG All Terrain tires on it. This truck was built for four-wheeling and beach crusing, but it can also be driven daily around town. It's fun and easy to drive, and the power steering helps it steer and handle extremely well on the street or on the beach. The front disc brake/rear drum brake system stops well.

The entire front clip is fiberglass, and is attached by Zeus tabs, which makes getting it all apart and back together again a breeze. There are no inner fenders, so everything internal is easily accessible. It currently has Cross Enterprises front and rear bumpers, the front has a tow bar attachment and a receiver hitch built in (for a slide-in Winch mount). The 23 gallon rear fuel tank & an 8 gallon side tank both work correctly. We believe it has a 'line-lock' as an e-brake, but we haven't yet figured out how that system works yet. It has 1/8" steel "Rock Ski" rocker panel covers to protect against dents or scrapes when off highway. We plan to sell those, then install some 1/4" steel tubular James Duff side steps and powdercoat them black soon.

The suspension system on this Classic Bronco is pretty amazing. This is an early 2000's version of what we currently offer as our new 'Legend Coil-Over Suspension System'. It has King 14" Coil-Over front shocks and stock raduis arm bushings in front, and 12" King rear Coil-Overs with trailing arms in back. It's also got a tie-rod over conversion, along with heimed steering linkages and an adjustable track bar & tie rod assembly.

This system is truly innovative even by today's standards, and not many Early Bronco enthusiasts have four-linked suspension with tie-rod over steering these days, although these features are becoming more desirable. This is very unique and would cost a LOT of money to have built in today's fabrication environment. This truck has seen some serious off road trails, and is capable of crawling over almost anything desired. Best of all, it's got a super-soft nice ride in the street. It also has an on-board air compressor which can inflate the tires after four-wheeling on the beach or out in the wilderness or on the trail.

We decided we are going to install a new Rocky Roads Legend-Hybrid Front Bumper with Push Bar & 4" LED lighting, plus a Warn 9500TI Winch, along with a 'Rock Solid' plated steel rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, 1/4" Plated steel side step rocker guards, and dual PIAA reverse lighting. We also plan to adjust the valving in the rear King shocks to give them a little more stiffness & better ride height.

We just painted the truck & installed a 342 HP Ford Crate Engine, fully loaded with electronic ignition & distributor, custom dual exhaust system, a rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission, a rebuilt Dana 20 t/case with twin stick shifters, new Flaming River automatic billet tilt column with LeCarra steering wheel, a new Tom Lee 3.2 turn power steering system, Tuffy locking glove box & a new STC black soft top.
