This 1973 100% Rust-Free California Bronco has a 1997 Ford Explorer Fuel Injected 302 engine with very low miles. The engine & engine bay look great, as does the entire under carriage. tons of engine/electrical upgrades including newer exhaust system, four core radiator, built C-4 Automatic transmission with shift kit built in, with the factory '73 shifter on the column, Dana 20 T-handle transfer case, 4.11 gearing, power disc brakes. Newer 3.5" lift, Wild Horses variable rate coil springs in front, newer Rancho 9000 5 way adjustable shocks front & rear, Ford 9" rear end with Detroit Locker, 31 spline axles, Dana 44 front axle with Posi-Traction. This truck is an excellent off-road vehicle that can handle even the toughest mountain trails.

With it's fuel injected motor, this Bronco gets 15 MPG city or highway driving! There is now well over $65K invested! It has a new black soft top with removable windows, factory steel hood with fiberglass scoop, restored rubber/seals throughout, restored windows & doors, new door safety straps. Restored black vinyl front & rear factory seats, new shoulder belts front & rear, Le Carra steering wheel & new Alpine CD sound system. Tuffy locking center console, 12 gallon side tank, 12 gallon rear tank, (24 gallons total) heavy duty receiver hitch, custom white faced Autometer gauges under dash, separate Auto Meter fuel gauge for 12 gallon side tank.

New 8 point Proto-Fab black powder coated family roll cage with new grade 8 hardware, padded and wrapped in black, new rear retractable shoulder seat belts now in front & in back, 15x10 American Eagle aluminum wheels with new lug nuts, new 33x12.50x15 Pro-Comp Mud Terrain tires. A complete undercoating service was just performed, as well as a black-out service.

The interior has new black Rocky Roads pleaded black vinyl door panels, rear side panels, and tailgate paneling, black removable snap-in-and-out carpet mats, plus an inner dome light in dash. Just got a new in-dash ALPINE stereo system, along with a set of 6x9 speakers integrated into the rear panels. This truck is ready to drive daily or take out for a weekend cruise. *3-15-13 Work just completed: COMPLETE Tear down, NEW MATTE BLACK PAINT JOB, removed front & rear chrome bumpers, removed old spare tire carrier, match painted & installed new Legend Front Bumper with push bar, new Proto-Fab Rock Solid rear bumper with spare, new match painted 1/8" steel plated step-up bars. This truck has been 'vastly improved' since these modifications were completed, and it now more closely resembles the '72 Legend Build we just sold for close to $75K.

**5-7-13 SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADES INCLUDE: New 600 WATT Alpine PDX-F6 RMS-1 Sub-Amplifier, Cerwin Vega 10" woofer, a new set of JL Audio C3 525 component speakers in doors (4), plus a Cerwin Vega amp kit. & a new set of Alpine SPR 6x9 rear speakers. We also just installed a new set of HID headlamps for better night vision, and a set of black billet window rollers to help get the windows down with more style!

***5-17-13 MORE UPGRADES COMPLETED. We removed the original 5 turn power steering box, and installed a new Tom Lee Manufacturing 3.2 turn steering box (a $1200 steering gear box) plus a new tie rod & adjustable drag link, then correctly set the alignment. Now, the steering feels like brand new! It hugs the road better than we ever imagined it would, just from changing out the steering system! The handling is a step up from any top-of-the-line Bronco at this point.
