A True American Legend is about to be born. The first Rocky Roads Legend is in the BUILD stage right now, and will be completed in the summer of of 2012. It will be the first Rocky Roads Bronco Restoration equipped with CNC'ed & Laser cut CAD designed suspension components, combined to create a suspension system that is unparalleled in ride and performance.
The new top of the line suspension package is currently undergoing design and development, engineered to be superior to ANY other EB suspension system. The entire suspension package is being modeled in the latest CAD software and will be constructed using CNC machining, along with laser cutting and forming equipment to ensure every part will be consistently accurate.
This is the first Rocky Roads Bronco that is being designed specifically for serious Off-Road use, which can also be used as a daily driver. Combined with traditional Rocky Roads quality body & paint work, custom interior work, and some of the finest parts available anywhere in one complete package, the Legend will be hard to out-perform on the trail. It will be offered with an UN-Cut OR a Cut & Flared body style to suit everyone's style.
The RR Legend will be using a front and rear 4 link system, utilizing 12" Fox Coil-Over shocks in front and 8" Fox shocks in the back mounted to the trailing arms, getting 12" of TRUE wheel travel, and built using Trophy Truck quality parts and hardware. The team of engineers who are building this system have an extensive history of building and prepping top class championship winning Off-Road race vehicles. They even took part in the design and development of the new F-150 Raptor suspension system. They have tested the limits on countless builds in the past, and have the expertise to design & build the most versatile suspension system that can possibly be achieved on an Early Bronco on it's true 'original frame' platform.
By not going Over-The-Top with extra features and keeping true to simple Classic Bronco form, this purpose-built Vintage 4x4 will not 'gouge' your pocket book, and you will not be afraid to take it four-wheeling because that's what it's built for.
With a 'Fabricated' 9" Currie Detroit Locker rear end with Ford disc brakes & Dana 44 front axle with ARB Air Locker, heavy duty axles & Ford disc brakes, this Bronco will be able to fly through the Desert or crawl up the steepest inclines. With an 'all Ford' Hydro-Boost brake system, it will stop on a dime from any speed.
Once this build is completed, and all suspension components have been finalized & tested, our team will be able to install this suspension system on any Classic Bronco within a months time from start to finish. Details of the new Legend suspension system, the complete Legend Restoration Package, as well as pricing, will be available soon to all who are interested.
