A Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection has been done for this truck, and every issue we found was professionally taken care of. This RUST-FREE 1972 Explorer package was entirely restored by Rocky Roads. It has a stock 302 engine with a freshly rebuilt Holley carb, new Pertronics electronic ignition system, new Flame Thrower coil, lots of recent tuning work, chrome valve covers, dual exhaust routed correctly out behind rear tires, rebuilt C-4automatic transmission just installed. new Billet tilt column, rebuilt 3.5 turn power steering, newer brake system including new power brake booster, bracket, master cylinder & hard brake lines.

Blacked out engine bay, pressure washed and 3M "Body Schutz" Undercoated & blacked out undercarriage. The suspension has a mild 1" lift and is single shocked in front & back. Runs, steers and stops very well. The underside of this bronco is VERY clean, and has been pressure washed, cleaned, wire bruch prepped and nicely refinished in a satin black enemal paint. The beautiful 2-stage paint cost around $5,500 at the time it was painted. The Ford 9" rear axle is from a '77, it is a BIG-BEARING and has been gone through. It has Posi-Traction in back with 4.11 gearing. The front axle is a Dana 44 with new disc brakes in front and new drum brakes that have also been totally gone through.

The original door hinges were rebuilt, and are aligned perfectly. All window tracks, felts and runners were replaced so the doors are rock solid. No play in the rebuilt factory door hinges. Push the left or right side door buttons and the doors open effortlessly, no hard push. Windows roll up and down tightly. Newer window rollers and knobs. Wing windows and chrome levers work great, and are so tight they will actually stay opened while driving.

It has clean factory aluminum trim accents, as well as newer armrests and inner door cups. The parchment colored stock front and rear seats have been restored in a high quality vinyl which looks identical to factory. It has a clean white set of matching pleaded door panels & white pleaded vinyl rear side panels. A beautiful, carefully prepped black Linex interior bed-liner has been sprayed on, so it's very easy to keep clean, and floors will never rust out. You can now rinse the entire interior out with a hose and not have to worry about your floors rusting out over time. You can ONLY do this type of a proper bed-liner to a RUST-FREE vehicle with ribbed factory Bronco floor pans. The interior looks as nice today as when it was first restored. The NEW roll bar is a Proto-Fab eight point point, with new hardware, which has been painted 'satin black' with new three point high back seat belts.

It has a clean OEM front bumper with new "bumperettes" The rear bumper is new and is aftermarket, with a new set of 55 watt chrome KC lights. It has dual fuel tanks (8 gal, new 23 gal rear) with a new electric fuel switch, plus a factory spare tire carrier with matching spare. It also has a new glove box liner, and a new 'near perfect' black dash pad. Recent work includes: both fuel tanks recently drained, then re-installed so no sediment is in the fuel system. All gauges are working properly. The heater is working properly, too.

New factory headliner just installed with foam insulation under ribs of hard top to add sound proofing. Newer black sun visors and wiper motor cover also just installed. The REMOVABLE white hard top had been restored and re-sealed, with a good working latch that opens and shuts correctly, plus it has a nice set of padded Surf or Kayak racks on top. New steering stabilizer shock, newer passenger side seat "footman loop" also just installed. Over $32K invested. Located in Santa Monica.

10-26-11 It just underwent a lot of recent work (complete brake overhaul, repaired fuel gauges, repaired heater, fixed shifter, electrical work, added a new power brake booster system, bracket, hard lines, glove box insert, headliner, new 8 point roll bar, new SOFT TOP, new chrome side mirrors, new reverse lighting with under dash toggle switch, new '72' stock steering wheel with polished horn button. Brand new Sony CD IPOD stereo system with new Alpine 6.5" rear speakers flush mounted in the rear side panels. A new black locking center console was added to bring it to it's current condition, as well as a new headlight switch, a new hi-beam switch. Also, new high back front seat belts just installed. Rear high back seat belts coming soon.
It has new white fiberglass front & rear fender flares, mounting screws and black rubber welting.

We did all of the needed paint touch ups throughout the truck, plus match painted the entire cowl (inside the engine bay) plus 'blacked out' the entire engine bay. The bay is now about as clean as it can be! Updated pics coming soon.
