This is a street legal Rust-Free S.C.O.R.E. Race winning two-seat Class 3 Bronco with a Race winning history! In 1995 this '72 CLASS 3 Bronco won the 1995 S.C.O.R.E. Off-Road Class 3 points championship. It won the '95 Baja 500, took 2nd in the '95 Baja 1000, won the '95 Laughlin 250 and won the '95 Mint 400! This race Bronco is a part of off road race history. This is a mid-90's CLASS 3 race winner.

Although the former owner still has all of the trophy's & plaques, we all know it's history... the feeling you get when you drive it is amazing! It goes amazingly fast in any on or off-road condition, and it's very fast off the line or through any rough desert terrain.

We purchased this Bronco in 1997, when it's former owner Robert Hayley moved into the Pro Truck class. We performed significant suspension upgrades in 2001 & '02 (cost over $20K). Since then, it has only been used for fun and for shows, (no races, no rock crawling, no pre-running). Never been rolled in all of it's years of racing! RR has put less than 1000 actual miles on it since 2001!

Here is some more history since we've owned it:

In late 2001, it received a new Hammes Bros (San Diego) 351 Windsor engine with aluminum heads, cam, Holley 650 carb, MSD ignition, (cost over $10K), HB claims 475 HP, actually it makes closer to 400 hp range and around 420 ft lbs. of torque.

2007 upgrade work:
New custom headers and stainless exhaust
New electrical system with fuse panel

Dash sectioned (for easier access)
Restructured gauges (dash opens on hinges now)
Extensive professional sheet metal work to floors, firewall & cowl
Removed bar from windshield frame between seats

Since this service, less than 7 runs to California City (each run maybe 10-20 miles) have been put on it. It is just a blast every time we take it out!

* Recently re-upholstered black Beard racing seats with blue 5 point Simpson camlock race belts
* Heavily trussed full cage
*(6) 15x10 American Eagle aluminum mags
* Six 35" BFG Mud Terrain KO tires, (plus two additional BFG 35" spare tires)
* Suspension includes King 14" x 3" diameter front dual rate coil over shocks & 2 Fox 4" hydraulic air bump stops and a centered (3) heim third link in front
* 2 Kuster 18" x 3" by-pass shocks, National quarter eliptical 32 leaf rear springs, new four link system at the rear
* Heavily trussed radius arms and trailing arms
* (14) 1 1/4" heim joints throughout.
* All shocks rebuilt in June 2004 by Johnathon at BALDWIN RACING, and are valved correctly for this Bronco.
* Less than 1000 miles on the shocks since rebuild.
* Rear drive shaft rebuilt in 2010.

Work completed in 2012: 2 new master cylinders, new brake lines, rebuilt Holley 750CFM double-pumper carb, new $2000 Fuel Safe fuel cell with roll-over valve & custom laser cut mounting system, new vent system & fuel lines, new fuel filler hose & cap, new electric fuel pump, new Roadmaster 50Watt Race Radio, new PCI race intercom system, new 5" Elite Baja GPS system & custom GPS housing, new HJC wired helmet, new West Coast Broncos pre-runner front & rear fenders & fresh white race paint design. We just took this baby out to Gorman for some testing & some low-speed rock crawling, and it performed excellent as expected. No over heating & excellent suspension articulation. It performed great over high speed bumps.

* 9-15-13 Most recent work includes a trip to Tom Lee Manufacturing in Sun Valley. They removed the power steering gearbox and converted it to 3.2 turns and installed a new UMP high pressure race pump & reservoir and new pressure & return lines, now the entire steering system is working 100% as it should (cost over $1200).

** We also just installed 6 new U.S. MAG 15x9" aluminum mag wheels & 6 brand new 35x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrain tires.
