This one-owner 100% rust free California Bronco has been restored to a very high standard, and it's getting even better every day. We have the original PINK SLIP for this truck, and all original documentation. It is currently registered in CA and has current tags.
The original 'matching number' RECENTLY REBUILT 302 engine is currently in the truck, we had it balanced & blueprinted, and comes with a 1 year 12K mile warranty. The engine, transmission, t/case & steering systems were removed, the engine bay was thoroughly pressure washed, prepped and the frame has been refinished to look like new. All brand new parts have been installed including new electronic ignition, new water pump, timing chain & timing cover, aluminum radiator, new fuel pump, harmonic balancer, 130 amp alternator, new voltage regulator, starter, solenoid, brand new Centek wiring harness, new polished tilt column, new 3.2 turn power steering system & late model pump just installed, plus a new LeCarra steering wheel & a new Vintage A/C system with under-dash vents.
The original C-4 transmission has been rebuilt, and now has about 6 months left on the warranty. New torque converter & resurfaced flywheel, too. Dana 20 T/case in great working condition, too. It also just got a set of new motor mounts, transmission mounts & t/case mounts. It has a new power brake booster & brake lines, new FORD disc brakes in front, new Wilwood 4 piston caliper rear disc brakes, a big-bearing Ford 9" rear end with all new hard & soft brake lines. A new ignition switch, radiator overflow bottle & wiper bottle were recently installed. It came from the factory with a Dana 44 front axle with limited slip & a Ford 9" open rear diff.
The 4 month bodywork & two-stage $7000 paint job has been completed back to it's original Sequoia Brown color, new RR Cowl Induction fiberglass hood, hinges & pins, matching front & rear fender flares, new windshield & seal, under-dash insulation kit & all stainless hardware. It has a match painted Proto-Fab Rock Solid bumper in front, and a Proto-Fab tubular rear bumper with swing out tire carrier in back. A new Warn 8000lb winch has also just been installed. A new gloss black Smittybilt 6 point roll cage was also added, along with new padding & wrapping & new stainless steel grade 8 hardware. It also has a new wiper motor assembly cover & new wiper arms and blades.
All new lights, lenses, bezels, headlamps, reflectors, chrome door mirrors, new chrome body moldings, chrome grill trim, new door hinges, window anti-rattle kit, inner window tracks, window rollers, inner door cups, door strikers, outer door handles, reflectors, side marker light bezels, chrome headlight rings, chrome side steps, 23 gallon Northwest Metal Products fuel tank, 1/8" steel skid plate for fuel tank, new black soft top installed, new black armrests, black locking center console, dual drink holders and a Tuffy locking glove box have all been installed.
The original front seats have been restored in black vinyl & new retractable shoulder seat belts have been added in front, with new lap belts in back. New Rocky Roads black pleaded vinyl door panels, rear side panels, and a tailgate panel, plus new black snap-in carpet mats & shifter cover have been added.
A new Alpine CD sound system with Sirius satellite radio, Ipod adapter, PDX-4 amplifier & 4 new door speakers recently installed, and the entire underside was wire brush prepped. Then, the suspension, axles & frame were blacked out, and the entire under-body was undercoated with 3M Body Schutz undercoating.
It has a 3.5" suspension lift with 15x10 American Eagle aluminum wheels with BFG 32x11.50x15 tires, with a brand new matching spare tire just installed. This truck also received a new 'quiet' aluminum dual exhaust system, plus we just installed brand new Rancho 9000 shocks all around and welded up new rear shock mounts to work with the extended brake lines & rear disc brake set up, and some extended e-brake cables were installed. The A/C system has now been charged, and is blowing cold like it's supposed to.
**This Bronco needs to go back to the paint shop one last time this coming week to take care of some touch-ups that are common when building a vehicle to this level...the paint shop did not prep the hood correctly when he painted the vehicle, that will be addressed by June 1st. Also, we still need to purchase & install a new set of Ingalls front end shims for the front axle to cure a 'caster' issue... then we will change out the tie rod & install an adjustable drag link, then we'll get the front end alignment done.
*** 5-25-13: We are also currently in the process of some major sound system upgrades. We are currently installing a New Alpine 600 Watt stackable PDX-6 sub woofer amplifier, a Cerwin Vega 10" woofer, a custom fiberglass woofer mounting system that adds 1.5" of clearence under the seat, which goes UNDER the rear seat that is being prototyped for this truck at our stereo shop. A new 12" black Tuffy locking rear console, new Alpine 6x9 speakers in the rear side panels, plus a new dual amp mounting kit are also being installed. Seperately, a brand new set of HID headlamps have just been installed. This truck now has the same exact sound system & lighting that we install on all of our $100K plus Frame-Off restorations!
**** We just received a new set of Ingalls camber shims that are currently being installed on the front axle to make the truck steer better. The BEST steering shop in this industry is working on the steering on this truck right now; Tom Lee Manufacturing. This will complete the upgraded steering system! This work will add a bit more $$$ to the price, but it will be well worth it when it's all done. Then, this truck will be ready to deliver!
